The Inside story

A class on the weekly Torah portion infused with Kabbalah and Chassidic mysticism.

The Inside Story is a journey into the fascinating and empowering world of the Torah’s inner meanings. Why did the Nile turn into blood, what do the cherubim atop the golden Ark represent, and what is the inside story behind Moses’ mask? Seemingly technical laws—such as korbanot, kosher, ritual purity, festivals, and business ethics—have profound spiritual counterparts. These teachings illuminate the relationships between responsibility and reward, the selfish and altruistic sides of our psyche, and the forces that hold the universe in equilibrium.

7:45 PM on Wednesdays.

This class is open to all adults as a merged continuation of the Torah and Tea Women’s class.
