Every Chabad house is an individually funded center. Chabad Watertown does not receive funding from the central Chabad offices and every dollar of our budget needs to be raised – which is why we're so grateful for donors like you.

Rambam (Maimonides) writes that giving on repeat is better than a one-off sum – even if it will be the same dollar total – because by giving on a regular basis, we become givers. It changes the nature of who we are.

  • While there are different donor "tiers," we welcome donations of every size because every dollar adds up to make a huge difference.

  • Definitely! If you ever want to adjust your donation, you can reach out and we'll process the change before your next donation goes through.

  • Once you become a Chai Society member, your card will be charged monthly. You have the option to cancel or adjust at any point – we understand that people's capacity changes and appreciate your commitment no matter how long it is.

  • Of course. If you don't want to be featured on the honor roll, simply choose "anonymous" when setting up your donation. Your name will not be featured in any public location.

  • Yes. Your donations are 100% tax-deductible. We will send you a receipt at the end of every calendar year for your total donation amount.

  • Typically, we process Chai Society donations on the day you submit your form and it will then repeat on the same day in the following months. However, if you prefer a different date, reach out, and we'll do our best to accommodate, G–d willing.
